Digital Marketing VS Traditional Marketing — Best of Both World

Digital Marketing is inbound marketing or internet marketing. The channel you send your message, ads, promotion is done through your mobile phone, computer or tablet.

Digital Marketing's benefit is the content can reach a wider audience rapidly, targeted to a specific audience; however, your message is temporary as the receiver can delete its content.

Segmenting your niche can be done depending on the social media platform use or smartphone app used, and it can be free, cheap or expensive to send your message.

Customer acquisition is highly possible but a longer process due to the number of steps to go through, impression and interest. Suppose the prospect is not interested in your offer, message, product, service or does not need it. It would not result in a click, then a call or automated sale. However, if the prospect is interested in your offer, message, product, service, and needs it. It would result in a click, call, email, WhatsApp, automated sale.

Traditional Marketing is outbound marketing. The channel you send your message, ads, promotion is done through print marketing and broadcasting ads.

The benefit of Traditional Marketing content is permanent, and your message seen for years to come.

Segmenting your niche is quickly done but targeting a specific niche is not possible. Depending on the medium use, it can be expensive.

However, if you decide to broadcast your message, be prepared to pay a lot more for your message and a shorter time.

Customer acquisition is highly possible but a longer process due to the number of views and interest. Which type of Marketing should you use?

The key to a great marketing campaign is the best of both world by finding the right balance and using inbound and outbound to your advantage. Digital marketing is the Ying to traditional marketing's Yang. The opposite method compliments each other and entwined but can be used independently of each other. Both play an essential role in your marketing strategies combined with tactics and elevated when operating in tandem produced an explosive fusion.

Content Marketing - The content has to be evergreen for the reader, solution-orientated and need-led.

Take the latter with another bang without giving up then you stand a chance to sell your product or service to the right crowds, locally, nationally or worldwide.

I mean, writing this, I am thinking, what is the odds of someone fighting a bodily bugs invasion, which means creepy crawlers living in you and eating your food wanting to kill you. The odds are pretty slim, depending on the part of the world you live in. it's common in China and India.

It can happen unbeknown to you, trust me on this one, shocked and distraught I was, then curious and devilish. The range of emotion I went through is impressive. The actions I have taken to remove the bastards were surprising, and people's reaction when they found out. I was either faced with curiosity or irrational fear of getting it, or disbelief.

It's a lonely affair basically, you and your bathroom fighting the bugs invasion. Believes me you can be in for a long haul like Traditional Marketing without the pleasant customers' acquisition loving and wanting what you do. It's more like an unwanted guest crashing the party and ruining everybody fun, as Digital Marketing can do if not balanced.

The bugs which bite me brought with them nasty bacterias and caused my body to become sepsis. Bacterial infections are the most common cause of sepsis. Worldwide, one-third of people who develop sepsis die. I almost died, but I survived unscaled.

The bacterial infection killed quicker than the bugs infection took a long time to remove permanently; these buggers stick in you like glue and use you as a breeding ground.

Removing them is like marketing your business; never give up until you reach the desire result top of mind and profitability. Because playing safe and caution when bugs infect you, you lose the fight, and you eventually died if you have infectious bugs. Like marketing your business to the wrong crowds or have a tiny niche or no marketing; yet, your business will fail.

When I was suffering from my bugs infection, I researched on Google people suffering from bug's infection and how to detox your body and cure me. I only find the various type of detoxes such as water or juice detox and some cleansing method. I could not find an informative bodily bug invasion book or an exciting article solution-orientated to help me fight the bugs. I found the parasite that invaded my body and their name, but how to remove them no information.

I had to devise my detox and cleansing, and they saved me by combining antibiotic for skin infection. Once I was in the last two weeks of my detox and purification, I got given parasite medication after giving the dermatologist parasites for analysis. The drug killed the remaining bugs and helped me remove them.

I wrote a book because I could not find anything to help me get rid of the bastards who tried to kill me, and it is therapeutic to write about your experiences. Therefore, The bathroom fight - A bugs story is an entertaining full-colour book, a funny, informative, solution-orientated book.

Should anyone suffer from a bacterial bugs infection, at least if they like me researching for help to meet their need, my book is there to purchase with my detox and cleanses and bugs removal methods that saved me? I knew it would be attractive to some people worldwide because one doctor asked how to remove the bugs. Can you explain it to me? And I did explain.

Search is the go-to place to find the business you want

If you are google searching for holiday ideas for your next weekend getaway, the chances are soon after. You will see a tailored sponsored ad from Google Flights. Using the internet for several hours each day is a normal part of most people’s day-to-day lives. Digital marketing uses this to its advantage by cleverly weaving in marketing communications into every digital channel.

Digital Marketing channels include:

  • Social media (Facebook, Instagram etc.)

  • Website, blogs

  • Email marketing

  • PPC (pay per click)

  • SEM (Search Engine Marketing)

  • Affiliate marketing

  • And more

Traditional Marketing channels include:

  • Outdoor (Billboards, bus/taxi wraps, posters etc.)

  • Broadcasting (TV, Radio etc.)

  • Print (Magazines, newspapers etc.)

  • Direct Mail (catalogues etc.)

  • Telemarketing (Phone, text message)

  • Window display and signs

Find what works for you.

Ultimately both types of marketing have their benefits and downfalls, but the key is understanding your specific marketing needs, considering your budget and understanding your target audience.

Traditional Marketing channels are often more expected and welcomed by the Baby Boomer generation and Gen X—people who own televisions and prefer to buy newspapers. However, Digital Marketing is a surprisingly suitable route for all ages, not just millennials and Gen Z—my sisters spend hours scrolling through Facebook, sharing interesting content on Insta and Twitter and shopping online.

The moral of the story: both digital and traditional marketing can work for you; as long as you know what your audience wants and what you offer is need-led and solution-orientated, you will achieve sales.
